    question

    this is not for this forum, but i think can somebody answer this
    is there a way using both windows and linux?
    what i mean is i am using windows then i can switch using linux.

    note: no need to restart when switch to linux

    If you need more than one OS without restarting or logging off from current OS then use a virtual machine, or remote desktop a PC which uses another OS.

    You can use Xming for a X Windows system on Windows. What would this accomplish? Well for starters you could tunnel X11 through putty and run linux programs remotely without having to remote into the whole desktop. Or even run a whole desktop locally.
