    Resolved [RESOLVED] Visual Studio 6.0 Uninstall

    Grrr having problems uninstalling Visual Studio 6.0 on Vista. Says it can't execute the file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\Setup\1033\setup.stf i haven't touched the file or even looked in that folder

    Any ideas?

    hmm would someone be able to post the contents of there setup.stf file. I created an empty file with that name and it now says it can't read the information so maybe entering some valid information could fix the issue.

    What if you attempt to install it again, might that restore the stf file you're missing?

    Plus i always get problems when i install VS 6.0 on Vista.

    Nevermind got a copy of the file from a mate, edited the source drive and a couple of other settings and it worked fine
