what is .scp file?
.scp files were given as source to database tree option.
so CR has nothing to do with creating a .scp (whatever it is )
how can i connect to this report as i want to create new report
probably using Database Expert -> More Data Sources

Re: how to create .scp file in crystal report XI
Thanks for your valuable reply.
Iam doing enhancement of an application which already consists of some reports
In my new report actually iam extractring data from views in vb6.0 coding , when we select the view name from oracle in the database field option of the crystal report displaying view name is displaying in database tree option, but all the columns of the view.
apart from this report already existing report which is taking data from the same view consisting Table26.scp and consisting only the fields which require to display or fields which selected from the view in coding.
For each report one text file with .scp is there
so this .scp file is in DDF folder of report folder of my vb application.
so how shall i give view name /.scp file to database option .If .scp then how to give.
help me out
