Java on Fedora 8

A1) Sun Java Development Kit, you can find that in the Synaptic Package manager or what ever package manager comes with Fedora
2) Same as above
3) For a beginner I'd recommend "Java How to program" by Deitel and Deitel

so it means its already installed or is there any simple yum command to install it
second..how can i check that whether its install or not...?
