LAME MP3 issues with Vista?

For all of my applications I have been using the MP3 encoder I found at http://www.planetsourcecode.com/vb/s...33025&lngWid=1

It has been working fine in WinXP but when I test it in Vista, the mp3 seems to encode but when I play it pack, either in my app, Adobe Audition or Windows, it plays all distorted.

The file info form Adobe Audition doesn't look bad:

I suppose its possible that its not Vista compatible. Has any one else experienced this or can offer any advice?

I dont think this is the right place for your question, post it in asp.net forums or whirlpool forums, you can get quicker response than this place as this is dedicated to vb6 and earlier versions.
