    Unhappy RFP's tracking and managing and stuff

    Maybe this is the place to post...not sure? Could be general programming but not really...could be database development but not really...

    The problem: Googling I can find lots of advice on creating Requests for Proposals but am having far less luck finding advice for the people (vendors) who have to track down all the answers for the myriad of questions that can appear in RFP's.

    How do y'all and your companies manage these things? Has anyone built a database to work like a knowledge base for RFP questions? What kind of things have you found helped - didn't help much?

    I just got a sampling of spreadsheets dumped on me with the request "can you come up with a better way..."

    I wrote a brilliant little FAQ system for our company... handles categories and subcategories with ease, so it's easy to make categories specifically for certain areas of the company.
