Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

3000 miles...poor Lou
Hey Lou! How do you like my picture....looks just like me doesn't it? Well except for the wings...and the blonde hair. If I have wings I should have a halo too don't you think??
Funny about you and Tom both watching that show and then getting all worked up telling me about it! I knew there was I reason I hung around with the two of you!!

Just got back from lunch - actually, from running. It's a beautiful day out here (72 Deg). It was a no shirt day. This car pulled over where I was running and this girl with her mom verbally harassed me. DAMMIT, I'm not a piece of meat. Anyway, let me know when you're abck on. Later

Ian...this is Louie
Lic N Lou is an absolutely insane friend of Tom and mine. We worked together for years (among other things ) and I knew he would enjoy the off-beat humor on this site so I invited him to join us.
Louie...this is Ian....he drinks sherry but other than that he's one of the best!

Thanks for the introduction Katie and great to meet you Lan. K, sorry I haven't been too talkative but I'm trying to get out of work while preparing for a management review meeting tomorrow. Looks like it's going to be a six drinker tonight. Or maybe one of those fishbowl margarita's. While I hang for a little while longer I can chat though

It's Ian like my son's name!
A coworker and I are meeting "the boss" down at the pub for drinks tonight to have a "we hate this place" meeting. Too bad you can't join us. Tom has class so we're going to make Ian drive us around so we don't have to worry!

hi there louie
katie! why haven't you introduced me? i thought it was obligatory, and parksie was unmentioned, a sin of death or worse
Use
writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
To throw away OOP for low level languages is myopia, to keep OOP is hyperopia. To throw away OOP for a high level language is insight.

Please forgive me but neither of you were on when the introductions began.
Louie...meet Kedaman....Ked meet Louie! He's way too smart but somehow still manages to be twisted!
Parksie needs no introduction......he is a legend in his own mind!
