Some time ago someone posted infomaytion on somwhere that hosts ASP, PHP and serveral other technologies but I can't find the thread.
it wasn't www.f2s.com nor ewebcity
I already use ewebcity but the servers seem to be very slow at the moment.

it might be useful, it states all the providers of free space and what they offer (what they support).

Chris I just had a look at the liks you found and ewebcity seems better all the time.
free of charge - unlike most of the others
30MB space - more than most
no ads - unlike domandlx
more than 1 database possible - only 1 with cfm-resources
don't want to know where you live - unlive cfm-res
Shame eweb aka brinkster.com is a tab slow...
