Would you buy meat and milk from infected or vaccinated livestock?
Foot and mouth disease is totally harmless to humans, but infected livestock yield less milk and so forth. Would you consider spending a little bit more for your meat (actually, it should be dirt cheap to start with), in return for an end to the slaughter.
The British in particular should be buying british and trying to keep UK farming alive and well. Would you help?

You know the only meat I'm interested in is yours....
Ahem, sorry.
Frankly, I'm not bothered where the meat comes from. In theory we should be buying British anyway as it should be cheaper. If someone else can afford to ship people across Europe, across the channel and sell it for the same price as ours, then something is sadly wrong with the practices used by British meat retailers...
Gentile or Jew,
O you who turn the wheel and look to windward,
Consider Phlebas, who was once handsome and tall as you...

The government are avoiding vaccinating herds in favour of mass slaughter, merely so we have a strong European export market
Doh! which European country actually trusts british meat now? at least if the herds are vaccinated, people know what they're getting...
I'm looking forward to cheap steaks already...

I don't really care, I love meat and all food so... that wouldn't bother me!
As Ardal O'Hanlan said.. "I couldn't be a Vegetarian, I love Meat, I can't walk past a field without running in and licking the Cows!"
All apart from the licking the cows bit!

There seem to be a lot of buy British stickers on farmer's cars around here (Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border) - unfortunately since that are almost all Subaru's it doesn't impress me as much as is intended.

There are two cows in a field and one cow says to the other "Are you afraid of this B.S.E. thing ?" and the other cow turns round and says "It doesn't effect me i'm a tractor"
The meat thing doesn't bother me, mmm cheap suculent steaks,
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.
