CD Tracker is a database program that collects information of any music cd that you put in the drive and places it into a searchable database.
Looking for people to try to "crack" the registration part of it also. All people testing the software will be given a valid serial number to the program for their efforts.

What OS do you need testing done on? I have Win 95, 98, and if need be Win NT 4.0. Though, I haven't kept up with the Service Packs. I haven't had NT on my home machine for a while. But I did install it when I was desparate about a year ago. Though that is the nice thing about CDs. Any bugs with the install that I should know about?
I just thought I should let you know that I won't be able to do any testing until this weekend. I am getting my new machine up with all my normal programs. The machine I'll be testing on is a Pentium 233 MMX w/ 128 RAM.
Let me know if you still need help.
Thank you,
Karen M. Nickell-Kent

Are you still a part of this world? I have been wondering if you still need your program tested. I do testing for a living, so I am used to those "gremlins"! And as long as it won't give my computer a "cold" I'll be happy to look at it. I would just like to know what OS the others have been using and what you have tried with it. Some OS can play nice while others won't play at all. Send me an e-mail with your requirements and I will see what I can do.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,

All right!
Ran into some problems with converting to winME. The controll keeps saying "Invalid connection state" so I found a bug myself!
Don't worry, I was thinking about updating to cddb2 anyway. There might be a huge delay in the next release becuase I think I am going to update to cddb2. If anybody has anyhting to offer on eather I should go to CDDB2 then just reply back here about the pro's and cons! By The way! check out www.cold-soft.com for the new CD Tracker Website!

How are things going? Your messages are looking old. I just put Win 98 on my "new" machine. I built another one so I can test and download with some feeling of security. I have to be careful. I'm a girl. Ha! Ha!
Have you got any feedback from anyone using 98? My RAM could probably use some improvement, its at 56kb. But at least my CPU is at 250mhz. Not bad for a parts computer. Though, my board does want a newer modem. So that is keeping it away from the internet right now. I am planning on getting a new one this weekend. I would during the week but I am bushed after I get out of work.
I better get out of here. Let me know if you still need help.
Thank you,
