    Re: Oh no...

sigh. Another pointless thread about FF vs IE.

Can't we talk about Shaggy's socks instead?

    Or Mendhak's smoking addiction?

    Or OB's addiction to cookies?

FF went down the crapper a long time ago. IE will always win over any other browser easily

    Re: Oh no...

I checked out IE8 before on a VM and it looks and feels a lot like IE7

I didn't get to mess around too much, but I will tomorrow when I have more time.

Oh no what? This is good news. Anything that further washes the abomination that was Internet Explorer 6 and older from the seas of the web can only be positive.

I don't expect it to look or feel any differently from IE 7. This is primarily a rendering engine update.

No. Nothing is or will ever be. The majority of web standards are esoteric and irrelevant.

Well after just testing IE8 my level of dissapointment has dropped even lower. Half my sites aren't rendering properly

I do hope IE8 supports the HTML 5 working draft.

What's that? Oh, yes. Yes indeed. That document has been released by the W3C.

But according to the W3C, development for Pre-98 machines is irrelevant and stupid.

Oh, wait. This is IE we're talking about.
