[RESOLVED] edit directly in List view, is it possible?

I wonder if one can edit directly in the list view.
After it's been filled with data, I would like to chose any field in any collumn to edit, then hit a save button to update the data base.

(Been searching the forum and all I could find was like temp storage in textboxes, If its posible I would like to skip that extra procedure.)

As it is now only the first column seems to be editable...

If it were possible to skip the extra procedure, no one would be using the textboxes.

Here's the thing..... the ListView was never meant to be an editor... it is a ListVIEW.... not a grid... It is possible.... but it is a real pain and prone to problems. Your best bet would be to have the list view, and when the user clicks on an item, it loads the data into another part of the screen, where it can be edited.

Think of it like this: File Explorer is a ListView.... only the first column can be edited (the filename)... none of the other cols can be changed. If you need something beyond that, either change the concept, or use a different control.
