Does VB.net 2005 have the auto update feature that VB 2008 XE has???


if so, does it work the same way???

when your program is first started, it will look for an update on any website that is setup with your program and check the version to see if the posted version(on the web site) is newer, if the posted version is newer it will automatically download the newer version.

VB 2008 XE will do this so I am looking for someone that has used this feature.

What component does this for you in 2008? Are you referring to ClickOnce? If so, I don't think that's changed much if at all as I believe in 2005 it can also do updates.
