[2008] Is the dot net framework free to redistribute?

I am wondering if the .NET framework is free to redistribute (I use VS 2008 Pro)

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks

Yes. You can download the distribution files on the Microsoft Download site. The distribution files are good to add to the bootstrapper of your install to make sure that the end-user has the correct version.

Thanks, I thought it was, it is installed when you run Setup.exe (it runs my setup.msi)

    Cheers
