Hilliary is reaching the end of the line??
The Hilliary Clinton Team appears to be reaching for negative items about Obama now they are accusing him of plagiarism. Looks like the second New York maybe forced out of the race (hehehehehehe)

Her campaign was over when she choked back tears on National Television because of the pressures of running.

Re: Hilliary is reaching the end of the line??
Frankly, this is the most interesting political race I have seen in my lifetime. Those two are so very close that unless Clinton loses Texas and Ohio, the two states she is focusing on, the race will truly be determined at the convention, and probably not a day earlier. I would say that Obama has the edge at the moment, but this one may go right down to the wire. I don't remember another presidential race running this close in a primary, though I remember hearing a reference to one that went this tight on the R side at some point in the past. Was it 76?

Re: Hilliary is reaching the end of the line??
I am going out on a limb here and predict that Shilliary will announce that soon that she has agreed to be Obama's running mate against McCain/Guiliani. If this is the case then I will either A) Vote Democratic (something I have never done before) or B Stay home (More likely choice). If this turns out to be the case Obama/Clinton vs McCain/Guliani then I believe in this narrow instance that the democratic ticket would be better for this country rather than electing two R.I.N.O. s (Republicans In Name Only). Now if McCain select Romney or Huckabee then and only then would I consider voting republican.
We shall wait and see . . .

Mark

Re: Hilliary is reaching the end of the line??
I think we talked about this in another thread though - these co-runners in the primary elections really never get together as running mates in the general election.
What benefit would Hillary get out of being VP? She supposedly has the credentials already (so she says).
If I hear her talk about health care one more time I'm going to throw up

Steve,
At least with an Obama/Clinton ticket we know what we are getting but with a McCain/Guiliani ticket who knows. As for what benefit does Hilliary get out of being VP only her and Bill know the answer to that.

Mark

Re: Hilliary is reaching the end of the line??
I kind of sick of the whole primary thing now - I'm ready to shut down until they start serious Dem vs Rep discussions for the primary election.
And then of course we get to see how the US as a whole would treat a non-white-non-male-non-old-man candidate...

Didn't Clinton steal her entire campaign platform from Obama when she became the "candidate for change"?

Doesn't that prove that she's better at it than he is?
Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Cry, and you just water down your vodka.

I don't think that was acting. That's the part that troubles me. A president can't look week. And if she's buckling under the pressure of running, what will happen if the S hits the fan when she's president?

If it comes down to super delegates, who would win?

I think that's the most fascinating question out there right now. There will be people getting SERIOUSLY pissed if Clinton loses the delegate race, and wins among the super delegates, as the situation now stands. That would be the most disasterous thing the dems can do, but lord knows that when they take careful aim at their own feet, they rarely miss.
I keep hearing about Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton. I think both of them are highly improbable if only because we won't know which until the convention. Why would either one of them want the #2 job? Why would either one of them really want the other one in the #2 job? I don't believe it will happen.
As for the Ghoul. I believe his political career is pretty much over. I wouldn't be shocked if I was wrong about that, but it's certainly what I expect at this time.
