[2005] IDE Adding Tabs
Hello,
I have added some of my own tabs to the IDE (down underneath Components, Printing, Menus & Toolbars etc)
I've then added references from certain controls I have so I can easily use these controls later on other projects.
However, I've done this in the past and the groups have disappeared for some reason.
Does anyone know why this is ? (I definitely didn't remove them)
Is there a file that holds the settings or someting ?
Basically I want to ensure I don't lose them again and have to redo them each time.
Thanks.

Re: [2005] IDE Adding Tabs
That's a good question actually. I think the only controls that "stick around" are ones installed and linked into the IDE using the Visual Studio SDK. I'd assume that you need to use it to make some type of "control registration project" to perma-link controls into the IDE, rather than on a project-by-project basis.

Thanks for your reply Jenner.
Normally I'd agree with you, however one of the groups I created has stayed.
There seems to be nothing different about this group so any of the others though, so I can't understand it.
