taskbar indicator icon

Hi, is there a component which will display a flashing icon in the taskbar, according to new info in my db. Similar to ICQ or MSN messenger, telling me i have a new message. Short sample code would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I dunno about a component, but i've seen code to add your app's icon into the taskbar beside the time (bottom right), and i've seen code to make that same icon flash, so it can be done. But a separate component? Nope, ... i haven't seen that.

Is there a site that shows sample code on how to go about doing that.

I know i got some code like that from PlanetSourceCode.com, but i can't remember when or by who.

I think i have an example at home. Best to email me and ask me to send you the code. Be sure to include a subject line that makes sense - i don't open emails unless i know what it's about.
