I’m pooling my hair out for a few days now. I have problems with some controls, like the gridview, for web applications in VS2005 ASP.NET under Vista. Even the menu item: “ASP.NET configuration” the gridview control of that configuration page doesn’t fire a postback. Only when I start VS2005 NOT under administrator rights its working fine. But then debugging is not possible. However under XP it works all fine. SP1 and SP1 update for Vista are installed. Also tried hotfix KB937523. Is it only me?
