    I have extracted Borland C++ to the folder
    C:/borland/

    New how do I run the compiler. Is it a command line tool or it is like visual C++--and IDE development environment?
    I have dev-C++ but I cannot create any menubar, dialog in it with the resource files.

    Is there any good free IDE environment C++ compiler?

    How about this...

    Maybe you should look for main.exe in the folder you extracted. Main.exe is the compiler environment. I think

    Good luck

    The only Borland Compilers that have an IDE are the ones you purchase. Ones such as, the free compiler, have to be used from the command line.

    Borland C++ compiler.

    I have Borland free C++ compiler not C++ builder. THe file is called Commandlintool.exe. I don't know how to run the compiler. If it is a command line compiler then how do I use it with the c++ files?
