    SQL Server 2000 & MySql

    Hi ,

    Can I Know what are The difference between SQL Server 2000 & MySql
    Most of my work was using SQL Server 2000
    Now I have To Use PHP with MySql
    I have done some Manipulation with it

    But i need to more Some details about the difference ?
    & what MySql Cant do That Sql can do ...

    The differences depend very heavily on the version of MySQL, as it is a relatively immature product (and so new features get added in every version).

    Probably the best place to find the features is on the MySQL web site, as they should list features by version.

    Yes, but they probably wont, at least for a while... Not only is it easy for you to find out yourself (at least an overview, then ask us about things you want clarified), but even after I said it is very important, you still haven't mentioned which version of MySQL you are using.. or what features of SQL Server you were using (SP's, UDF's, ...).

    For basic features (standard SQL statements), the only real difference is syntax - which you can find on the MySQL web site.
