    Cube-Desktop Program (Rather Advanced)

Okay an idea. I know one OS has something similar to it basically you make a desktop, 6 times. And then put all the desktops in a 3D Cube. Then you makie it so users can flick around the cube on say the click of a button, or if you drag your mouse in that direction etc.

I think its Linux that has this. Doesnt have to be the size of the screen though. Make it like half the size and center it. So its like an actual cube on your PC.

It's the "Compiz" project, it's open source.

I think if you click the "source code" and "download" links on ComputerJy's link you will get what you need.

That is anyone's guess. I suspect you would just have to give it whirl.

Well, it says cube, and it looks kind of like a cube, it's just missing some sides, and it's rather transparent... :P

i used one on xp before. Wasn't a complete cube (no top and bottom) but had 4 desktops, and showed the transition.

I used this one a rather long time ago.

    http://www.3dwonder.com/

It was really good. Had no adverts or anything (which seems to be in the free version now). It is NOT open source though.
