    Forum crashing IE7 this morning

Just happened twice in a row.

Got on the forum - clicked NEW POSTS.

Don't remember what add was displayed.

Scrolled down - went to click on a post - IE7 crashes immediately - not even partially getting into that post (no screen change)

Immediate crash - page did not change at all.

As soon as I clicked on the thread link I got the program encountered an unexpected error and will be going bye, bye - do you want to report it to MS - standard pop-up window. Click DON'T SEND and IE simply evaporated.

It did not occur any other time yesterday - just twice in about a 5 minute span.

Its probably a certain Ad that is using some component that an IE7 AddOn doesnt handle correctly or the Ad is manipulating your version of the component incorrectly. Try disabling some of your un-necessary AddOns and see if it stops. If it continues then disable a few more until it no longer crashes. Then you can see which addons may be causing the issue or not able to handle the issue correctly.

And, if you can pinpoint the Ad, that would be helpful.

But that might be difficult as he says the page doesnt even get to the point of loading in the browser (no screen change).

I hasn't happened since those first two times.

I have recently installed Snag-it - sits in the tool bar up top in IE.

But it doesn't "process anything" unless you click it - it's not like an active addon.
