[RESOLVED] [ME] Add/Remove Program
On my computer that is running Windows ME when i try to use Add/Remove programs to uninstall something, the list does not contain or populate itself with anything. No programs install, nothing
Any ideas on how to fix this or does anyone have a good work around?

Re: [ME] Add/Remove Program
Are you logged in under a different account then when you installed apps?
Applications that have been installed as per-user for the current user are displayed in the Add/Remove Programs of the current user. Applications that have been installed per-machine are displayed in the Add/Remove Programs of all users. Applications that have not been installed per-machine, and have only been installed as per-user applications for users other than the current user, do not appear in the Add/Remove Programs of the current user.

Re: [ME] Add/Remove Program
Sounds like it may be a corrupted registry key. If your comfortable viewing the registry then check out the key to see if its viewable and look like nothing is out of the ordinary.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Look for the "DisplayName" subkeys in each entry as that is what tells windows to display the item in the add/remove programs listing.

Re: [ME] Add/Remove Program
is there a scrollbar on the window? I saw a really strange error in windows 2k once, where the screen looked totally empty but everything was scrolled off the bottom.
