The state of my world

The scary thing is that he took some viral crap and inserted himself into it by stating it in the first person. Therefore, he knew he was lying, and therefore knew his information was false, whether or not he believed the original viral info. That elevates his actions from stupid to Evil. Instilling a brand of morality through deliberate deception has only a few equals in history, and none of them are flattering.

I think you'll find politicians do that all the time in order to lend credibility to their argument. He certainly does, and so didn't think twice about doing it again. They just don't always do it so obviously.
