Inverse..... it's known as taking the inverse of a number.... the inverse of 2 is .5 (1/2) .... the inverse of 4 is .25 (1/4) .... the inverse of 3/8 is 8/3 (or 2.66666666) And to be truer, that doesn't actually have a function name, but it's part of the Inverse Function class of operations.
More on inverse functions (yes, there's more than one kind....) and if you scroll down far enough.... further.... keep going, there's a chart where you will find the formula you just posted.
