    English grammer is pretty asanine, every grammer rule has multiple exceptions. I think it's because English has pretty much absorbed multiple influences from other languages.

    But the second major language Mandarin sucks worse, a tone based language (fairly rare among languages) and it doesn't use an alphabet.

    The fact that English has multiple words that mean "to be" and that they can't be exchanged with one another, just shows how insane the language is.

    VB is my first language. English comes second. I constantly have to correct myself when I type orelse as one word

    new VB keyword since 2005 for any of you die hard VB6 veterans...

    Yes. English is rare in that it has both Germanic and Latin roots—as well as the 'borrowed' words that every language has.

    Sometimes when I'm speaking, I don't want to say the whole sentence, so I usually say the first few words and then press Ctrl+Spacebar.
