    Can i run a program a program on a client machine sitting on another computer.......

    well, yes you can. Create a small DCOM program for the client (an ActiveX exe) and have it call Shell or ShellExecute API. then you can create an instance of that program from your pc w\ CreateObject. I don't have vb on this computer, so i can't give you code, but i will post some this afternoon.
