The depends entirely on what tests you will be taking.
There are quite a number to choice from.

We are talking about your interests, so how can anything be "wrong"?
I see 5 or 6 tests in the VB.NET area that you could select from.
Do you have at least 2 years of experience in coding in VB.NET (Microsoft recommends a minimum of 2 years before taking an exam.)

The duration is only suggested. 
You need to decide which track to take. VB or C# and then if you want to get an MCP, MCAD, or MCSD in 2003 or go with the 2005 certs which are MCP, MCTS, or MCPD.
