    Rentacoder/Job Boards

I was just wondering if there were any sites apart from Rentacoder and guru.com that are similar. The guru.com site is pretty active but you have to pay and i really can't afford to at the moment. The site should also allow transactions via Paypal.

I done a search on these forums and only got guru.com and dice.com.

Depends on what you are looking for too... RentaCoder and Guru are good for freelance work... stuff you find at JustVBJobs, JustTechJobs, HotJobs.com and Monster and Dice tend to be more of the permanent variety (contract, contract to hire, hire)....

Freelance jobs, sorry guys should have been more specific but it was late

Yea guru and RentaCoder are the only two i know so far, but i found it weird that they expect people to pay at least $99 (for the cheapest account).

Well I guess they dont make enough off of advertising and their site so they have to change for something.

I think guru.com is the one that charges.

Yes the do, not RAC though it is actually quite good. But from what i remeber it being a while ago it seems to have slowed down a little bit and was wondering if maybe a new and improved site similar to it has been opened or something.

    Re: Rentacoder/Job Boards

Rentacoder is great if you want something done cheaply and with little to no chance of support for it in the future. It's not great if you are looking for work, unless your cost of living is between nil and zero.
