    Hey all

I wish to get into deving some text based games, not all text, but some type of games that are like some type of web browser games like Building Army's and attacking other armys, ect. with minimal images for cell phones and palm PC's with VB6..

Is it possible, if so how?

    Hi,
VB6 cannot create applications for mobile devices.
.Net or embedded visual c is what you need.
You still can't create for palm using the above though

Mobile device support in Visual Basic .Net is much better than VB 6. In fact, I suggest you look at Visual Basic 2008, which also has better debugging for mobile.

    Re: Hey all

There is a free Express version for 2008, and you can't beat that price, but you might want to check to see whether or not it includes mobile dev support. I was under the impression that the 2005 Express did not, though I never actually saw the thing.

EDIT: Ya know? I just realized that the reason I never looked at 2005 Express is that somebody else (employer) bought me the full universal subscription. So you CAN beat that price.
