On a couple of threads, VBF has been choking again.... just now (about 2 minutes before this posting), the VB Wire got hung up and wasn't coming through..... 80 seconds later and the page still wouldn't show.
I've also had some issues off an on with some of the ads taking a while to d/l when displaying the page.
Nope... nothing... I got the Internet.com menu... and the header for VBWire..... and nothing else.... page blank.... After I posted that, I went back to the thread that I was having issues with, and it came through OK.... so I don't know.
I was thinking that VBW was timing out, and It thought there was something in place to keep going if it hadn't replied in 30sec or so... so I was surprised to see 80seconds tick by...
If it's just me experiencing the hickups, I can deal with that. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's something system wide or "just me"...
And it did it again.... while replying to this post....
Screenshot attached (I hope).

edit -- ps - OK, I give up.... How in the world do I attach an image like that, WITHOUT it showing automatically? Jimminy Cripes! ... I appologize for the size of that.

Simply attach an extra file (such as "blank.txt").
It was happening to me yesterday - I got frustrated waiting - clicked the BACK button and then re-clicked the REPLY or NEW POSTS (I cannot remember what I was doing) and that came up quickly that time.

Riiiiight.... I'm going to walk over to the server room, bust down the door (since I don't have the keys) and flip off the server.... riiight.... I should then follow that with leaving aforwarding address fro the remainder of my paycheck.... OK Hack, I'll get right on that....
Everything is coming over via port 80 so I doubt you're having firewall issues unless your company is specifically blocking certain items (but then they'd never show up... ever)
Perhaps there is an issue with the ad and your computer? Hard to tell

Not to sure, but this sort of happens to me. But its hard to explain. Its not that VBForums is choking its my internet?
What happens is i click a link and all of a sudden the page loads like it did for you or sometimes nothing at all and then a dial-up connection dialog comes up not to sure why. But i just cancel it and it goes on loading. Maybe something like that is occurring but not visibly?
It may be the vbWire feed becomes unresponsive and causes the page to hang.
I agree with this thought since that is where the page is hanging. I'll see if we can get someone to look into this again.
