    can u provide me some links where to download the Crystal report..? im new here.. just want to learn..

    Crystal Reports, itself, is not free. You can't download it from anywhere without paying for it.

    You could try download VB.NET 2005 or 2008 Express. I think that might have a working copy of crystal with it, but I'm not sure.

    Also
    You can find an old version (4.6) of Crystal Reports in the VB6 installation cd
    Don't remember if you can access SQL data with it
