    Some website questions

I'm currently working on a web page for a non-profit organization. There is a local company in my area that has offered to provide space for the site but they have a few conditions. They are...

    -HTML only
    -No email
-Nothing that requires server interaction (java, cgi, frontpage ext, php, -mysql, etc.).
    -20MB space

The page is exclusively HTML but it uses a CSS style sheet. Would that still fall under "HTML only"?? Also, what if we wanted to put an embeded video in the site, would that fly?

The site is basic so I'm thinking this will be fine but I wanted to check with everyone on here as well.

    Thanks

Does this thread relate to this thread?

I would say CSS would fall under the category of HTML Only.

Embedded video would fly if the site owners say it can fly.

Why the restrictions? Is this some kind of non-profit regulation that you have to adhere to?

    It IS related yes.

The hosting company offers a "not for profit" package but that is what it includes. I guess they were getting a bunch of people creating huge, interactive sites all on the free hosting package.

    Ah, ok, that makes sense.

Even with the restrictions, however, I can't see them getting their knickers in a knot over using Cascading Style Sheets with HTML.

It might be a good idea to check with them about the embedded video thing however.

I think by 'HTML only' they probably mean 'static' in which case CSS is fine.

Videos can be embedded without using scripting, so they should be fine too.
