    Resolved [RESOLVED] uncheck signature box

    Whenever one creates or replies to a thread, the "show your signature" checkbox is automatically checked. I tried looking for an option to not have it do that automatically but I couldn't find it. Does it exist?
    [vb5 & starting to move to vb2008] I appreciate the help I get from everyone. Thank you.

    Edit Options > Thread Options > uncheck "Show Signatures".
    This will hide sigs for all your viewing on the site. If thats too much then you can opt not to use a signature as there is no way to set it as unchecked.

    Yes, I did see that option but it takes away seeing any signatures, not necessarily what I was looking for. I don't mind seeing people's signatures. Some of them are funny. I just wanted a way to uncheck the default "show signature" when I replied to a post. I just wanted to "save" space. If I already replied to the thread, I don't see a need to see my signature included again in that same thread. Oh well, I guess I'll have to keep manually unchecking it...

    Well the other option I mentioned was to just remove your signature, delete it. Then you wont need to uncheck "Show signature" at all since you wont have one.

    Hmm, guess the best that can be done is manually unchecking the sig option when replying to a thread then.
