i did used to receive email notifications about 6 months ago. my default email notification is set to default, and i am subscribed to a thread thats being posted on. but im still not getting any emails. i did check my email's spam, and its not even there. my email on my profile is correct as well. help me out?

Since you have email messages (not email notification) turned off I can't test this by sending you an email but I suspect that what is happening to you is what happened to me and that is that your ISP is blocking our post notifications. To get around this

    • Create a GMail account
    • Set up the GMail account to forward to your normal ISP
    • Change your email address in your VB Forums profile to match the GMail address

here, ill actually turn it on right now for u and we can test it. and i dont think my isp is blocking it, because i dont have my isp's email. i have aim's email.

Some e-mail providers almost always block our e-mails. AOL and Verizon are two of them, but there are others. Comcast cable often does also.
