Expandable Crosstab

Hello everybody,

I have a crosstab crystal report and rows and columns are coming from database entered by the users. I need to make the columns and rows expandable with respect to the length of the text.

Any ideas?

Right click on the field
Select Format Field
Under the "Common Tab" click "Can Grow"

This will expand the size of the row to rge size of your text. I;m not to sure how to expand a column size unfortunatly

But the Can Grow checkbox of the field is disable. How can I get it enabled to check it?

ok i see what you mean - i did just create a report using the crosstab wizard and the can grow is disabled. Not to sure why it is doing this???

What I can suggest you do is use a normal layout and do the crosstab in your query rather than relying on the CR crosstab. Its a bit messy but at least then you will be able to control your column/row sizes.
