tutorials
First, my friend wants to learn visual basic, and His mum doesnt like me, so I cant come to his house, he cant come to mine. Are there any online tutorials for beginners? and while we're at it, are there any website or book (i have £40 to spend)that just has a whole load of functions and methods and stuff like that because in my library there are onnly stuff for beginners, and I'm not a beginner any more, but I want to know some more functions, because I'm not a genius.

E-Book's are everywhere, as are open source tutorial projects. As Static said, Google is your best bet for finding these things, but torrents are great for 'free' e-books.

Re: tutorials
As far as tutorials are concerned, they are going to be few and far between these days as the over whelming majority of them will be for VB.NET
A question and a comment.
Comment: Out VB FAQ section would be a good place to start.
Question: If your friend is just beginning, why VB6 as opposed to VB.NET

Re: tutorials
I gave my friend a vb6 cd. I have vb.net too, but I havent downloaded it yet because I am working on a vb6 thing at the moment, and I didnt give it to my friend because I heard it was mmore advanced than vb6.
