Hi, my application has an option to start it when Windows starts.
If the user has set that option and uninstalls the application, the value will remain in the registry.
How can I check if my app has been added to the Windows startup and remove it if it exists?Code:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Name: Application name Type: REG_SZ Data: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Application\Application.exe
I found out it works like this, but I'm not exactly sure what code I need in my case.
The registry is not something to mess around with, so I'd like to be sure.
Code:Root: HKCU; Subkey: "Software\My Company\My Program"; Flags: uninsdeletekey
