Altering Code Whilst Debugging??
Hi Peeps,
I am writing a very complex piece of software a PDA and was wondering if there was away of altering code as I debug. I can't use the emulator because I use third party tools. At the moment I have to find the problem, stop the program, fix it, and then redeploy it. I am using VS2005 with Mobile 5
Cheers
Jiggy!

That feature didn't exist at all in 2003, and only works somewhat in 2005, as far as I can see. However, that should be possible for some types of edits in 2005, have you tried it?

Re: Altering Code Whilst Debugging??
I haven't tried it on a PDA. In fact, now that I think about it, all my PDA apps are in 2003, which didn't have an edit and continue functionality on either the desktop or mobile platforms, so I have always lived with it.

I can be done it in some degree with 2005.

OK thanks all for your help, I guess I will have to do as I am doing and stop and start every time.

That's pretty much where I was going. It sucks, but that's life.
