I do realize there are a few posts already about this subject , but the reason for this post is:
When using the SetWindowLong method of making my form invisible , on Win98 it creates a semi-transparent form, and on WinNT nothing is Transparent about the form.
I am trying to create a small Screen Saver that will run on a server that needs the desktop to remain viewable so you can see if something has happened but prevents unauthorized access.
Can anyone tell me how I could use BltBit to accomplish a Transpaent Form?
any help would be appreciated.

I'm not trying to be rude, so I appologize if I come across this way, but I also trying to help you. This forum is only for reporting bugs, or praising the new look of this UBB. So your post should really be in one of the other forums, like General VB Questions. That would also help you get an answer sooner, because most people check the General forum. Like I said, I hope I didn't come across rude, I'm just trying to help you out.

I think that this post would be better in the General VB Questions too. A quick move ... ahh that's better.

Am I losing my mind??? Wasn't this post in the Forum Feedback forum a little bit ago? I thought for sure it was. That's why I posted that last message.
