    VB.net letters/ datamerge

    Hi

    How do I do letters in vb.net 2003? I have done this in VB6 but am needing to do this in vb.net now....

    Do you mean like alphabet letters? Or like letters you mail? Perhaps something entirely different?? I hate to be a downer but your question seems to be rather vague.....

    Are you looking to automate Word and use its letter merge feature?

    hi...well I need to create a report/ Letter...then personalise it ie pass in Name address, cpl of other data items

    I dont think I can use word as its sensative system and dont want letters files lying about for folk to see.

    So i would lift a letter report add in data then preview to user..... the user can print then or later on in batch job

    kick...... basic reporting in vb.net?? I see a crystal Reporting option
