Pictures in MMControl

Hey guys,
Can you use the MMControl to display pictures? Or anything else other than videos and audio If so, how?
And I've got a video that doesn't play in my picture box, it's a AVI file adn I think I need to point it to the right codecs does anyone know how to do this?

I think you've got it backwards. The PictureBox can display images, bmp, ico, gif (not animated), jpg and so on. The MMControl can play multi media.

Ahhh well My picture box can display videos using the MMControl or maybe I don't use the MMControl for that, but I think I do...
