Did that work? I haven't actually begun writing yet so I was just typing the romanized stuff and hoping it would become something meaningful.

Japanese language is fun, I guess because it doesn't follow the normal structure. It's a challenge to learn.

True, but I've learn't that we knock off the "u" bit.
The characters as a whole pronounce desu, but it is apparently des in that sentence.
