Resolved [RESOLVED] Internet.com top bar does not render correctly

Here is the image. It is also hard to "find" proper position for cursor meaning it's sort hard to actually get textbox or button focused - it look=s like something's offsetting the cursor.

Re: Internet.com top bar does not render correctly

I was just about to post the very same thing! This bar has gone crazy and Im having a hard time clicking the links (they behave like normal text, some of them cant be clicked) and I had to use the TAB button to get to this textbox to post this message.
And as you can see, Im using Opera.

Glad I'm not the only one. geezes... I can't make any new threads or reply to certain existing ones.... all links that are "covered" byt the "bar" are useless as the div tag that the bar is in covers them, making them un-clickable.... Problem in Fx and IE7.... I didn't think about using the tab button....

Same problem here. Someone didn't test before applying!

Yep, same problem here. Quick Reply is far enough down to be accessible, but the main reply isn't.

Re: Internet.com top bar does not render correctly

Was that fast? The toolbar hits all my sites, so it was a critical issue for me (not just VBForums) . Seemed like a very long 45 minutes....

The problem was a file was rolled out that linked to a CSS file inside our firewall. D'oh!

Of course, when the developers tested this, it all looked good because they had access to the internal file. Just goes to show that it pays to test from a system outside your network if you are doing web apps

All is fixed now. (hopefully )

    Brad!

Re: Internet.com top bar does not render correctly

Aah yes, let me guess, you call it the UAT environment? We've often complained to our infrastructure department that UAT isn't really UAT, it's just a glorified and somewhat protected development/QA machine. It simulates the live box in no way at all.

    Anyways, thanks for the fix.
