[RESOLVED] Vista Mouse Hover Behavior
I just got a new PC and its operating system is Vista. I don't like the way it automatically clicks/checks things when you hover over them. Is there some way to change that behavior?

Re: Vista Mouse Hover Behavior
Strange, my Vista has never done that.. Have you examined all settings in the control panel?

It came preloaded with Vista Home Premium. Maybe it's some sort of driver issue.

Do you have ClickLock on? That's the only setting I can find that might apply.

Sounds like it was some specific configuration image that your laptop manufacturer has set up.
On my installs it is as it alwas was as under XP

Re: [RESOLVED] Vista Mouse Hover Behavior
Were you talking to me? In any case my laptop has a stylus that I can use on (or above!) the finger mouse pad to do normal mouse stuff plus special "flicks" to turn pages, scroll, etc.

Yes.
You may want to get an external mouse as they are a heck of allot easier then a touch pad.

I may do that but the stylus is accurate and very easy to use.
