Accessing Sim contacts on a Treo 750v WM6

Hi guys, i was wondering is their a way of accessing the sim contacts of a mobile device and placing them in a db so i can move them to my pc. I googled this and all i came up with is a third party dll for $1500!!!!

The data base part i know its just getting the info from the sim i need, il even settle for the on board contact memory....

If i remember correctly The In the hand library supported some functions of sim, if i remember correctly.
