That's right, but I don't know why it's not supported. The resolution is to upgrade to sp3 or sp4. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329329

Thanks, I know this might a non-database thing but, how come most of the drivers are not supported by win2003 not unlike the previous version?

Perhaps because they cause system instability. Have you tried downloading the latest drivers from the hardware manufacturers web site?

Instability? Do you mean that win2003 is not stable? I really want to upgrade our winserver to 2003, but i guess i have to stick to 2000. Any suggestion on using win2003 as server?

No, it is not ustable, but many drivers are poorly written and have caused a log of BSOD in the past. That is why Microsoft is "signing" drivers that are tested and found stable. Windows 2003 will warn you if you try to install a non-signed driver.

Does it also requires minimum resource like Win2000? How about it performance? Will i really got to Win2003? Thanks
