    addition and subtraction in cr9

    does anybody know how to write a formula that will take a number and subtract the value of a field and then have it output the result?

    sorry, i figured it out. i was trying to use basic syntax when it was looking for crystal syntax. all is good.

    Create a Formula Field and then use that field on your report.
