    [2005] Best start

Ok, my goal is to program a game using C# only. I want my game to be a 2d platform game. I need to know where I can find the best tutorial for creating a 2d platform game.
(P.S. If this is in the wrong place, sorry. I just thought since it was something with C# i would put it here.)

I also have the game studio for C# 2005 express.

It would be best to post in the Games & Graphics Programming section. And by game studio i assume you mean XNA? IF so then there is a couple of start kits that you can download. Some i think use XNA and some use DirectX directly well there is one or two that use GDI+.

I can really recommend looking at XNA.

Yea XNA is recommended, it is basically a DirectX wrapper with more features though And you can make your own XBox games!
