    reports in vb6

    hi guys.. i have a question, i am relatively new with reports in vb6. I was planning to use crystal reports but found out that i had to purchase it and i'm not willing to purchase one hehe so is there any other way of generating reports in vb6? i read that dataenvironments can be used but have no idea how to start. i need help hehe thanks guys.

    There is a Data Report Designer and a Data Environment object.
    Go to VB6 help menu, select the 'index' tab, type in 'data report'.

    Under 'data report' select 'writing'.
    This will walk you thru creating a data report.

    Crystal Reports IX Upgrade was being offered for only $99 as long as you had a qualifying product. Great deal that I took advantage of. You we need to get the developer edition so that you can embed CR Reports into a VB6 application.
